MK.IX

The MK.IX was virtually the same as the MK.VIII with two notable differences; it was fitted with disc brakes all round and the new 3.8L XK engine, giving it much better performance and a top speed of 114mph. Power assisted steering was also fitted as standard and the heating unit was uprated. Later models had larger rear lights incorporating red and amber lenses on a much bigger plinth. Just over 10,000 cars had been produced by the time production ceased in September 1961.

A comprehensive range of parts is available including disc brake parts, body fittings and steering components as well as a large selection of repair panels.
